Just reminiscing over some of my best fashion shoots, and this corker comes in my top 5.

Set at All Stars gym, a specialist boxing and fight gym, complete with fighting cage. The theme is clearly boxing with a pink and black, although we’ve tried to keep the Tom boy/ tough girl feel going. The gorgeous model is Parker and the photographer is Nigel Riches. Hair + make-up the lovely Claire Portman.

We were so lucky with the location that day although tiny Parker managed to break the ropes around the ring. Something the muscled personal trainers were not impressed with. Grrhhhh back to them too.

Little wooden Christmas trees

This Christmas I decided I wanted to combine the card, gift and decoration element all in one hit. So I came up with these little lovelies.

The trees themselves are from www.craftshapes.co.uk and the writing is produced with a soldering iron. They do take quite a while. Everyone is unique with a few little slip ups here and there as precision is tricky. All trees are finished off with antique buttons and a sweet little bow.

It’s always a interesting task trying to re-create winter in the summer. But god damn it we did it! We brought the snow to London!

Here are some of the shots used inside the mag.

I art directed this year’s ski and snow wear shoot which involved tons of buckets of fake snow, a beautiful model called Jessica, and the fab photographer Glen Burrows.

Wham bam thankyou jam!

So Miss P has been busy collecting and preserving fruit all summer long, and now present with (drum roll please) Wham Bam Jam

It’s been so much fun making jam and creating my little labels and lids, all in time for Christmas present time. Loving that Miss p have moved into the preserves zone.

There’s been plenty of errors but my successes so far include Wham Bam Plum jam and Wham Bam lime Jam (which is really a marmalade).

I’ve made plenty of apple chutneys too which are amazing with chicken as well as the more traditional cheese and crackers.

Attempting a fig and plum jam this weekend. Time to step things up and cross-preserve some fruits

Thir-tea party celebrations

On the 9th of September i hit the big 3-0 and to help me keep my mind off things I planned a thir-tea party to combine my favourite things; cakes, coffee and friends : )

The day included my own birthday logo, hand screen printed goody bags, too many cakes, beautiful bunting and lots of fun and quirky teapots and toys. Even the dust bunnies made a guest appearance on the day.

Awwwwww there’s nothing quite as nice as that warm fuzzy feeling you get when someone says “hey! i like what you do”, and that’s exactly the nice surprise I got this morning.

I love cards and even better excuses to make cards. Here’s a card I made for my beau for our anniversary to celebrate 3 years together and our love of sausage dogs.

Two bag ladies

This weekend saw the rare and exciting collaboration of miss p and another miss p. For my thir-tea party in September this year I decided to gift everyone with a special handmade bag.
